Welcome to QLD’s first Splatter & Splash Room! Where it is perfectly OK to cover yourself in paint and make a colourful mess!

The Splatter & Splash Room is a guaranteed fun and crazy experience! Unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before! Ideal for…well, anything - but birthday parties in particular! 

This unique experience will have you throwing paint filled water bombs and paint-splattering your mates, all while having the time of your life! White hats, shirts and canvases will all be available to purchase on the day to make the experience last a lifetime and glow under the Black Lights! Don’t want to be covered in colour? You can still join in on the fun whilst being covered head to toe with protective wear. 

This is an interactive adventure where you choose your own boogie music, while making a splash and being splattered! 

Included FUN in Splash & Splatter Parties (per person):

  • 4x Paint Pots
  • 4x Paint Bombs
  • Glow sticks for each of the kids
Please note that all paints used are Water Based, Non-Toxic, Kids Safe Poster Paints. They are vegan and environmentally friendly and Conforms to Australian Standard 8124.3


Minimum 8 people required for booking a party. (If 8 people are not added to the booking we will update your booking and additional pricing will be charged to your order)

It is recommended to purchase some extras to make the experience more memorable!

*PLEASE NOTE - Enclosed shoes must be worn when participating in the Splash Room. 

Splatter & Splash Party sessions go for approx 1.5 hours, including a 10 minute prepping/safety briefing beforehand, 30-45 minutes in the splash room (or until the paint runs out - additional paint can be purchased) and the remaining time can be spent in the outer sitting area where everyone can enjoy eating, drinking, cake time and present opening. 

If you are planning on getting messy during the session, we suggest you bring a spare change of dry clothes/dry towel. Please note we do not have showers, only toilets where you can change/clean up - otherwise we provide protective wear if you are wanting to go home colourful! A waiver is required to be signed for every participant before entering the Splatter & Splash room. We also recommend checking out our safety rules at the bottom of our website before your session (a briefing will also be done before entering).

Parties are available on weekends, weekdays during school holiday (all subject to availability). 

Parties at DIY Invasion require a minimum of 8 children. 

You are more than welcome to BYO food, drinks and cake, however if you would like us to organise the catering for you and make your little ones birthday as stress free as possible, select your preferred date and time for the party and press Book Now. This will then take you to the next page where you can choose your activities, extras and food options.
